Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about relaxation. Rest is needed in the life of man. The scripture said in the book of Genesis 2:2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Even God understands the importance of rest. If God could rest from His hurdle on the seventh day, we must also learn to rest and relax from our hurdle.

No matter how busy you are, you must find time to rest. Christianity should not rob you of your chances to have good rest. So many people have died in the disguise of being a Christian. They failed to rest when their body called for it, hence they died from blood pressure and other stress-related illnesses.

As much as you work and struggle to make ends means do not shy away from relaxation. And if you think relaxation is only for the weak and lazy, well the scripture has so much to say about relaxation. There is time for everything under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to sow and a time to reap.

There is a time to work and there is a time to rest. When you relax at the right time it doesn’t mean weakness or laziness. You will only be called the lazy one when you relax when you are supposed to be working.

We have curated a list of 20 Bible verses about relaxation. Do find time to study them.
