Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about respect.

Respect they say is reciprocal. Do unto others what you want to be done to you. If you want to be respected, place people below and above you in high regards. As Christians, it’s expedient for us to respect our elders, people in our fellowship gathering and everyone around us so that we can learn from them. It’s important to know that we should never look down on anybody. From the stories we must have learnt during our bible study we must have seen how God rewarded Lazarus after he was ridiculed by the rich man. Which means God doesn’t like it when we disrespect our elders.

Respect is a feeling of deep admiration for someone such as our church pastors, minsters, our fellowship brethren and so on.As Christians we should see respect as something of great Value that must be held in high regards and practice constantly. 1. Titus 2:7

Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity.

 

2. Exodus 20:12

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
