You are a precious jewel, you are worth more than silver and gold. Let this be in your mind always as you relate with people. Do not allow any put you down, you are not worthless, you are a demigod. When people see you they have seen God. The scripture said in the book of Genesis 1:26-28 Then God said ‘Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth.’ And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

 

You are created in the image and likeness of God. So you should pride yourself in a high order because you are not ordinary. The scripture said in the book of 1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. You are a royal Priesthood. Your Priesthood is from the royal clan. You are not worthless. Many of the things you complain about are a result of your acceptance of people’s opinions about you. Do not let anybody’s opinion put you down.

 

When you place value and worth on yourself, no one will take you for granted. Besides the fact that the teaching of Christ is compelling, people listen to Christ because he placed high value and worth on himself. Value and worth should not be judged by the level of wealth or fame. It should be based on how much we know God and how much we are putting the word of God to work in our lives.
