Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses for God’s promises.

 

The steadfastness of the Lord never ceases and His mercies are forever with us. The bible says God is not a man that He should lie or a son of man that He should repent.His words are filled with promises and He is a covenant keeping God, just as He promised to send us a comforter, He did.

There has never been a time God has promised us something that He won’t fulfill. Though it may tarry but believe that He will keep His words. The Bible is where God’s truth and faithfulness lies.

When things get tough, when we face challenges in every areas of our lives ,we should remember that God is preparing something great to help us forget our pains and struggles. It is more easier to deal with our difficulties when we come across bible verses that talks about the promises God has for us, for those who mourn, for the sick, for the lost, for the thirsty and so on. As you read these Bible verses about the promises of God, pray and claim them over your lives.

Memorise the Scriptures that promise God’s help in different areas of our lives. Pray over them, they will make you forget your worries and problems because Jesus already told us everything is settled.

 

1. 2 Peter 1:4

By which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

 

2. 2 Corinthians 1:20

For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.

 

3. Philippians 4:6-9

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 4. 2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

 

5. 2 Corinthians 7:1

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

 

6. Isaiah 54:17
