Today we will be dealing with 25 bible verses about patience in hard times. Psalm 110:1 The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.” The Lord is commanding us to stay at his right hand until he makes our enemy a footstool under our feet. This portion of the bible is talking about exercising patience in hard times. The enemy the scripture is talking about here is the hard times.

However, it is hard to be patient during a difficult situation. How do you calm someone going through the pain of child loss or a wife who has just lost her husband to the cold hands of death? It is very difficult to keep calm, it is difficult to be patient in hard times. But God is telling us to sit at His right hand until he has conquered our fear and defeated our complex situations. The scripture makes us understand that God acts in His time. The book of Isaiah 60:22 At the right time, I, the LORD, will make it happen.” We only need to exercise patience for the time to come. When the time is right God will make it happen.

God didn’t promise us that there won’t be trouble. He didn’t promise us that we will get everything on a platter of gold. He never promise us that there won’t be hard times in our lives. What God promises us is that he has conquered the world. John 16:33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” God has conquered the world, we just need to exercise patience as we, through faith, bask in our victory.
