Today we will be dealing with 25 bible verses about strength. Our strength as believers is in Christ Jesus. We can classify what we call strength as the grace of God. The scripture said in the book of Romans 9:16 So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. We don’t thrive by our mortal strength but by the grace and mercy of God. Have you not read the portion of the scripture that said by strength shall no man prevail. This automatically means that our mortal strength is not enough to thrive in life.

Meanwhile, there is a spiritual strength that we also need. It comes from knowing and accepting Jesus as our personal Lord and savior. After we have accepted Christ, the holy spirit will come upon us. And scripture makes us understand that we shall receive power when the holy spirit has come upon us. The things that we could not do by ourselves before, we will conveniently do them when the spirit of God has come upon us. This is the type of strength that we need to thrive in life. The book of Daniel stated that the people who know their God will firmly resist him.
