Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about confidence KJV. Confidence comes through power given to us by God. Self-respect, self-worth are adjuncts of confidence and it doesn’t come without backing. Let’s take the life of Apostle Peter for instance. Before Christ was taken, He told Peter that he will deny him thrice but Peter contested. When Christ was taken and he saw the pain and reproach Christ was going through at that time, he doesn’t want any part of it. Peter knew that anyone who is with Christ would be made to go through the same pain and reproach as Jesus. So he denied knowing Jesus Christ thrice.

 

It was the same Peter that could not stand with Christ that defended the gospel of Christ in front of thousands of people in the book of Acts Chapter 2. What has changed about Peter? It is CONFIDENCE. The old apostle Peter lacked confidence that’s why he could be swayed away by fear of what could happen to him if he’s identified with Christ. But when he receive power, strength and confidence came and he was able to do the things he couldn’t do before. When we gain confidence, we can do almost anything.

 

Most times our failures come not from our inability to do that thing but because we lacked the confidence to try. When we are endowed with the spirit of confidence, we will discover most of our failures came as a result of the lack of confidence. As believers, we must have confidence. Although the Kingdom of darkness may come raging war at us, we must stand firm and not be moved. We have compiled 20 bible verses about confidence for all believers.
