20 Bible Verses About Our Identity in Christ
Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about our identity in Christ
WHAT ARE YOU KNOWN FOR?
1. AND [Jesus] left there [Capernaum] and went to the region of Judea and beyond [east of] the Jordan; and crowds [constantly] gathered around Him again, and as was His custom, He began to teach them again. Jesus was known to be going about His father’s business,He actually said that His meat is to do the will of Him that sent Him.
Jesus knew when to teach, when to rebuke, when to heal and cast away demons. The question is what are we known for? Are we known for anger, hatred, bitterness, gossip, backbiting and so on? are Christians by birth, bearing the name, gathering with believers yet our custom says otherwise?. This is a time to rethink and take a turn to be known for what is God’s.
The crowd knew what they will get in following Jesus even though not many wanted the main reason that Christ came but for the mundane things that will pass away with time. What we should be known for is that we are Christians in all areas, pertaining to our lives , we should be reflection of who He is.

3. 1 John 3:1-2
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.
4. 1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.

We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
