Today we will be dealing with 20 bible verses about prayer during had times. Prayer is a means of communication between man and God. It is an avenue for us to tender our complaints and hear God speak to us. During hard times of life, we seek refuge in God through prayer. When the storm of life comes raging heavily at us, this is the time to intensify our altar of prayer. While we may dwell on our strength, knowledge, and status to solve a situation, there is a feeling of security and assurance we get when we pray to God.

Our problems will not just go away at the instance we begin to pray. The problems didn’t come in a day either. But because we lack enduring spirit we begin to think God is not listening to us. What we want when we pray during hard times is instantaneous response from God as though God is a magician. Meanwhile, the scripture told us that in life we will face tribulations but be of good faith because Christ has conquered. When we pray during difficult times, we should bask in the victory Christ has given us.

We have compiled a list of 20 bible verses about prayer during difficult times. These scriptural verses will teach us the importance of prayer during hard times. Also, it is will enlighten us on how to pray and how to wait on God for a response.

 

1. Psalm 32:5 – 6

I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

 

2. James 5:12-13
