20 Bible Verses About Self-confidence

0 269

Today we will be dealing with 20 Bible verses about self-confidence. There are so many people who lack confidence. They do not have confidence in themselves and this is not what the scripture taught us as believers. The scripture said God has not given us the spirit of fear but of Sonship to cry Abba Father. Lack of self-confidence is as a result of fear. When it grips the heart of a man, he would not even see God as being powerful enough to salvage his situation. When a man loses confidence in himself, he would not even have faith strong enough to pull him back.

First, a man must know his identity in Christ Jesus and he must know the God he serves. There is a level of confidence that comes from knowing the God that we serve. It builds a whole lot of confidence in a man. When a man has self-confidence, he becomes unstoppable for any barrier or limiting power. The devil understands this, that’s why is one of the things he take away from man is self-confidence. David had to first believe in himself before he could trust God. If David doesn’t see himself worthy enough to be used by God to liberate the children of Isreal from the reproach of the Philistines, God would not have used him.

Elijah had enough confidence that was why he could make a decree and there was no rain for three years and six months. God honored the word of Elijah again when he prayed and the heavens were opened that it rained heavily on the blinding dust of the earth. If there was no confidence to make a decree, God would not have honored his words. The scripture said as my people have said in my ears so shall I do. Declare a thing and it shall be established. But how can we decree a thing when there is no confidence when we don’t even have faith in ourselves.

If you are struggling with a lack of self-confidence, we will compile a list of Bible verses to help you with it.
